Donna Ann Egbert (nee Hermann) was born April 27, 1947 to Alvin and Dorthy Hermann, lovingly referred to as Daddyio and Poopsie. Donna attended Aiken senior high. She married her high school sweetheart Gary Oaks shortly after graduation, having David Gessing, Sonja, Shellie, and Cory Oaks. She later married Charles Egbert and formed a loving and special bond with Lizzie Pierce and her children. Donna was a devoted and loving Grandmother to Dakota A. Oaks, Anthony and Gavin Oaks, and Ashley and Austin Weaver. She loved spending time with Dakota and all of his many friends. She was a second mother, or grandmother, to many and loved each and every one, especially the Carson family. Donna spent her early years as a wife and mother, later becoming a very loyal and trusted P&G employee for over 18 years in the hair care department. After retiring from P&G she needed more to do, so she put her green thumb to work and went to work in the Garden section at Walmart. She is preceded in death by Gary oaks. She is survived by her loving family and friends. She passed away peacefully on Friday morning, 12/21/18, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, on Friday, December 28, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in St. Bernard, Ohio.
