Dorothy Rednour Andersen of Mason, OH went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2019. Dorothy was born in Gorham Illinois on March 17, 1923, the daughter of John and Laura Sickler Rednour. She was preceded in death by her husband Byron and her son Gary and 4 sisters Mae, Margaret, Beulah and Pat and 4 brothers Ray, Bill, Henry and Jack. Dorothy is survived by her son Scott and wife Glenda and daughter Debbie and husband Randell. Grandchildren Chris, Kelly, Kristen, Randy, Blake and Gary. Great grandchildren Christopher, Hector, Katie, Ella, Anders, Elsa, Liam, Brooklyn, Cameron, Gaverial, Ariea and special friend Jan Hutchinson. Dorothy was a poet, musician, artist, seamstress and gardener. She was well-known for her “Hugs” poem. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.
