Dorothy F. Hartmann

Dorothy Louise Farish Hartmann, beloved wife of the late Edward B. Hartmann. Loving mother of Edward (Holly) Hartmann and Nancy H. (Mike) Stewart. Caring grandmother of Erin (Chris) Walczak and great-grandmother of Bennett Walczak. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rosalie Farish and her siblings Rosamae Sharpe, Ned Farish and Robert Chester Farish.

Dottie was a wonderful Christian woman who readily shared her faith. She was strong and kind; ready to help anyone in need and always available to listen. She had a gentle Southern way about her and even though she left Alabama at the age of 17, she never lost her accent.

She loved playing golf, being in Bible studies and being with her family. She also enjoyed watching sports, especially Alabama Crimson Tide football! But most of all, she was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. Widowed at 50, she became the rock of her family. She was loved by many.

She passed away August 17, 2024, at the age of 101. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at West Chester Presbyterian Church 8930 Cincinnati Dayton Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Suncrest Hospice 9050 Centre Pointe Dr suite 100, West Chester Township, OH 45069 or West Chester Presbyterian Deacons Fund.
