ANNEKEN, Dorothy Mae (nee Derrenkamp). Preceded in death by her devoted husband and parenting partner of more than 50 years, Henry F. Anneken. Dear mother of David J. (Carol) Anneken, Janet M. (the late Bill Bruce) Anneken, Mary K. (the late Mike Alcorn) Durham, Patricia M. (Jim) Kuhl, Rose Ann (Brad) Franks, Nancy J. (Randy) Ashley, Barbara S. (Rusty) Nall, Joseph H. (Shirley) Anneken, Steven J. (Kathy) Anneken, Joyce L. Anneken, Thomas F. (Diane) Anneken and the late Carol A. Anneken. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear sister of John (Doris) and Robert (Ginny) Derrenkamp. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Dorothy's family would like to thank the Gabby Gals and their families for their loyal support and friendship over the past 75 years. Also, thanks for the kindness of the special caregivers at Mercy Franciscan Terrace and Wellspring Health Center and to the many faithful friends and family members that made sure she was never alone. Passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at age 92. Visitation at St. Clement Church, 4536 Vine St., St. Bernard, Saturday, September 2, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905, or charity of donor's choice.
