Dorothy J. Owsiany (nee Yance)

Dorothy (nee Yance) Owsiany, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died peacefully, on August 21, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Dot was born on July 22, 1940 in Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Albert Yance and Anne (nee Tarapchak) Yance. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Owsiany, Jr. (1996), John F. Owsiany, III (2012), and Jeffrey B. Owsiany (2022). 

Dot, known by many as “Dodi,” was deeply devoted to and dearly loved her family. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer (Zak) Wyche and Janis (Bruce) Marcis. She was adored by grandchildren, Madeleine Wyche (Logan) Chapman, Sam Wyche, Jack Wyche, Adrianna Marcis and Alexandra Marcis. 

The family will be holding a private, family mass. Interment of Ashes will follow at Arlington National Cemetery where Dot will be inurned with her husband Jack.
