Douglas Frank Lueke

Douglas Frank Lueke Jr. of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 after battling Congestive Heart Failure for 13 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas F. Lueke, Sr. and Rose Lueke; and his son Dean Fitzgerald Lueke.  Doug is survived by his 4 daughters, Jaclyn C. Frederick, Kristina L. Scherer, Kimberly Killough and Cindy Lueke; son in-laws, Brian Frederick, Timothy Scherer and others; numerous grandchildren to include Tristan and Luke Frederick; and a host of other family members and friends from his 30 years of ski patrolling at Perfect North Slopes and windsurfing at Cowan Lake.  His funeral/celebration of life will be 1200 Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Cowan Lake State Park public beach.  In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated for the "Lucky Racers" foundation set up in his honor to aid junior ski racers who may be financially unable to reach their full potential.
