Dr. Robert L. Stark

STARK, Dr. Robert “Bob” L., beloved husband of Roselyn “Roe” (nee Flaig). Loving father of Damian (Megan) Stark, Jessica (Scott) Rivinius, Trista (Doug) Scherpenberg and Torre (Chris Setters) Stark. Grandfather of Clay, Lincoln, Lucas, Boston, Bobby, Dominic and Harvey. Son of Robert and the late Geraldine Stark. Son-in-law of Dolly and the late Mark Flaig. Brother of Ray, Russ, Rachel, Rich, Robin, Ron, Roger and the late Cindy and Rebecca. Friend to all. A child psychologist, he advocated for special needs children through his work in local schools (Reading, Monroe, Princeton and Winton Woods) and taught at Xavier University. He faced death the way he faced life: with a quiet bravery, surrounded by family and listening to music, just a little too loud. His family is bereft at the immeasurable loss but find comfort that he is at peace and his spirit will live through them. In his death, he will continue to bless his family as he did so abundantly in life. Bob passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the age of 64. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill on Wednesday, January 25th, 2017 from 5-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bartholomew Church, 9375 Winton Road, 45231, on Thursday, January 26th at 12 Noon.
