Edward L. Kistner, Sr.

Kistner, Edward L. Sr., beloved husband of Maureen L. Kistner (nee Griga) for 59 years. Dear father of Karen (Ken) Davis, Edward L. Kistner Jr., Virginia (Ramon) Miyar, Mary (John) Garcia, Linda (Mark) Lohrer, and Laura (David) Herbe. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Fr. Hilarion Kistner O.F.M., Eileen Massarella, Sr. Amy Kistner O.F.M. and the late Anthony Kistner and Mary Nimskern. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014, at the age of 82. Visitation will be at St. Clement Church, 4536 Vine St., St. Bernard 45217, on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Ed was a member of St. Pat’s K of C #1747, and he was a board member of the Cincinnati Catholic Cemetery Assoc. for 50 years.
