Eileen E. Ball

May 18, 1927 - September 14, 2015
Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt.
Born May 18, 1927 in Upper Hill District of Pittsburgh PA and graduated from Alderdice High School, Squirrel Hill/Pittsburgh. She retired from Sears Roebuck Corp.
In 2006 she and her husband George moved to Cincinnati Ohio to live with her daughter and son in law.
She was an honorary member of the 1st UCC Church, College Hill where she loved Wednesday Senior Luncheon/Bingo. Eileen loved her family, life, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Graeters Ice Cream.
Although she loved her family and her adopted home of College Hill/Cincinnati she always maintained a special place in her heart for Pittsburgh. Preceded in death by her loving husband George Ball, parents Anna and Isadore Linder. Survived by daughter Wendy (Dave) Hawkins- Grandchildren: Nicole (Kris) Leary, Kristin (David S.) Williams, David (Jenny) Hawkins, and Maura Hawkins Great Grandchildren: Kaylee, Aubrey and Isabelle Leary, Kennan (Angel) Goodwin, DJ, Dyani and Donovan Williams, and Reilly Hawkins. … and a son. Thank you to Crossroads Hospice Care for all of your help and care. Thanks to our good friends and neighbors for the support you gave for mind, spirit AND stomach! Thank you, Cornelia the Cat for your comfort visit on the 14th. Burial: Beth Shalom Jewish Cemetery, Pittsburgh PA.
