SMITH, Elizabeth "Liz" A. (nee Greninger), passed away Monday, August 8, 2016, at age 70. Beloved wife of Michael "Mike" D. Smith for 48 years. Loving mother of Jill C. and Daniel M. Smith. Dear sister of Richard (Diane) Greninger of Rockville, MD, and Susan (Thomas) Nurre of Ft. Thomas, KY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Liz was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Muriel Greninger. For the past 20 years, Liz has worked at LaSalle High School as a "cafeteria queen." No visitation. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 North Bend Rd., Monfort Hgts., Friday 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to La Salle High School, McAuley High School or American Cancer Society.
