Elizabeth (Betty) Manning

Elizabeth (Betty) Manning (nee Toomey) passed away peacefully Monday, April 20, 2020 at the age of 96.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1923 to the late Frank and Anna Toomey. In November of 1942, Betty Married Paull Manning, a young handsome Marine, stationed at Hingham, MA Naval Yard. The couple settled in St. Bernard, OH. In 2007, they moved into Cottingham Retirement Community. They enjoyed 69 years of marriage. Betty was active with St. Clement Church and School and Our Lady of Angels HS, Girl Scouts and the St. Bernard Women’s Club for many years. She enjoyed delivering for Meals on Wheels with Paul.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna, sibling, Bobby, Francis, Helen, Dorothy and Ann, Her Husband, Paul, her daughter, Dottie Mathy and granddaughter-in-law, Bridget Mathy.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Tom) Rolfes and Paula (Gene) Daves. Son-in-law, Thomas Mathy, Grandchildren, Tom Mathy, Michael (Dona) Mathy, Meghan (Brian) Miskanin, Paul (Jaime) Hogan, Tim Hogan, Mary and Elly Rolfes and nine great-grandchildren
There will be a mass of Christian burial held at a later date.
