Elizabeth C. "Betsy" Blom

BLOM, Elizabeth C. “Betsy”, loving wife of William J. Blom for 67 years. Dear mother of William G. (Diana Louiso) Blom and the late M. Christine Back.  Mother-in-law of Ronald Back.  Grandmother of Allison (Adam) Linkhart, Andrew (Nellie Walling) Blom and Alexander Back.  Sister of Grace (the late Howard Sanders), and  the late Jim Keller, Robert (the late Phyllis) Keller.  Sister-in-law of Dorothy Keller.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the age of 88.  Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  Visitation will also take place on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Clement Church, 4536 Vine St., St. Bernard, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.  Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Betsy was a life- long nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital; always putting others needs above her own. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who spent her entire life putting a smile on those around her. She loved unconditionally without hesitation and built a legacy full of memories, laughs and tremendous joy.
