Elizabeth Kaito

Elizabeth “Betty” F. Kaito, age 81, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2024, at the Traditions of Deerfield. She was born June 24, 1943, in Alverda, PA to the late Mike and Kathryn (Gill) Romick. She lived in Clarksburg, PA for 56 years with John, her loving husband. Betty was devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts, visiting with her neighbors, taking walks, shopping and had the cleanest house in town. She was well known for her homemade pierogies and her beautiful crocheted afghan blankets. Her most favorite outing was going to Daniel O’Donnell concerts with her sisters and friends. She always participated in community events and helping others. She is survived by her husband John Kaito of 60 years, her children Denise Boschert, Jason Kaito and the late John Kaito, grandchildren Travis (McKenzie) Boschert and Steven Boschert and sister Gloria Hudie. Preceded in death by siblings Agnes Mazon, Mary Klein, Annie Presto, Dorothy Gaydosh, Mikey Romick, Johnny Romick, Sophie Romick and Lizzie Romick. A memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer Association in her memory. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
