Ellen Rachael Brewster

Lifelong College Hill resident Ellen Rachael Brewster, 48, peacefully passed away February 9, 2021, surrounded by her family. A graduate of McAuley High School, Ellen studied at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Cincinnati. She worked for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission (CRC) for many years. Ellen was a voracious reader and wonderful cook and baker. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. Ellen is survived by her parents, Bob and Diane Brewster, and siblings Joe Brewster, Mary (Rami) Leventhal, John (Gina) Brewster, and Jeff (Katie) Brewster. Her six nephews were the joy in her life. She was an adoring aunt to Ian and Noah Leventhal, Luke Brewster, and William, Conner and Jacob Brewster. She loved nothing more than spending time with her nephews at family gatherings, which to her nephews’ delight, always featured Aunt Ellen’s homemade desserts.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13th at St. Clare Parish Center at 1443 Cedar Avenue from 10-12. Masks and social distancing required. Private burial to follow.
