Beloved wife of the late Allan Hennessy, Jr. Loving mother of Lori (Paul) Love, Kim (Brian) Glaser, and Vicki (Matt) Hufnagel. Dear grandmother of Megan, Andrew, Michael, Brooke, Ashley, Josh, Justin, Mitchell, Zachary, Josie, Tyler and Gabi. Dear great-grandmother of Canaan, Eleanora, Iris, Opal, Aubrey and Jaxson. Cherished sister of Patricia (Bob) Kelley and the late Albert Von Hagel, Jr. Daughter of the late Albert, Sr. and Emily (Newell) Von Hagel. Constant companion of her beloved yorkie, Zoey. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. (Emily) Jane found much joy in her faith, family and serving others. She had a particularly soft heart for little children and worked for over 10 years at St. Joseph Hospital Children’s Center, in Lexington, Kentucky. But the true apple of her eye were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she enjoyed taking to the park and playing games with, especially Phase 10. Jane enjoyed long walks and she and Zoey were well known and loved by friends and neighbors. Jane was passionate about her Catholic faith and she had a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She found much consolation and joy in praying the rosary. Jane passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at age 80. A graveside service will be held at the Chapel in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
