Ermon “Monk” Powell, age 85, of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away Wednesday December 13, 2017. He was born July 9, 1932 in McKee, Kentucky to Marie and Nathan Powell.
Ermon retired from General Motors and worked there many years. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and could make friends with anyone he came in contact with.
Ermon was preceded in death by his parents Marie and Nathan Powell; his brothers Ralph, Cecil, Lester, and Raymond; sisters Elrena and Birdie; wife Linda, and his sons Dale and Barry.
Ermon is survived by his son Jeff (Cindy); step-children Kirk, Lisa, and Joy; Grandchildren Miranda, Nate, Jake, Carly, and Kelly; Great-grandchildren Weston, Hudson, Vayda and Maci.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 17, 2017 2:00pm to 3:30pm and service 3:30-4:00 pm at Hodapp funeral home 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Road, West Chester, Oh 45069
