Erna Betts

Erna Eloise (nee Veser). Beloved wife of the late William Betts. Loving mother of Judith Betts McCane and Linda Betts (Rick) Yeager. Loving grandmother of Geoffrey Scott Yeager, Jennifer Lynn (Brad) Parker and Gregory Michael Yeager. Great-grandmother of Brendan Parker, Kyleigh Yeager and Gavin Yeager. Sister to Catherine V. (Dr. Forrest) Cress and Arthur (Bettie) Veser. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Erna was secretary to the registrar at the University of Cincinnati for over 25 years, loved her job and made many friends. She attended Fleming Rd. United Church of Christ. Passed away Monday September 16, 2013 at age 95. Visitation at Spring Grove Cemetery Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 4521 Spring Grove Ave., Thursday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CROSSROADS Hospice 4360 Glendale-Milford Rd. 45241.
