Ernestine Tunison

Ernestine Tracey Elkin Tunison passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 to be with the Lord. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 21, 1923 the daughter of Ernest and Cleva (McKinney) Elkin now deceased.  She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, caregiver, homemaker, secretary, cake baker and decorator, quilter, seamstress, cook, picnicker, crafter, gardener, and birdwatcher who had many other interests. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Donald, four children, Neil (Connie) Tunison, Nancy (Rick) McCarthy, Donna Ovadia, and David Tunison, five grandchildren Randall (Jennifer)Tunison, Amy (William) Childers, Robert Tunison, Patrick (Lea) Morgan and Meredith Morgan, and one great-granddaughter, Savannah Tunison. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
