Eugene Broughton

Eugene Broughton, born Nov 4, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio died Sunday morning May 23, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Sizemore Broughton. He leaves behind sons, Rev. Cedric Broughton and wife Josie, Rev. Cyrus Broughton and wife Shari and MSgt Leonard Broughton. Daughters Victoria Broughton Shepard and husband Dale, and Joan Broughton Thames and husband Lawrence. He was the proud grandfather of SSgt Scott Broughton, Richard Broughton, Joel Broughton, Matthew Broughton, Tiffany Broughton, Christian Broughton, and Mary Thames. He also leaves behind three sisters, Delores Ball, Wilma Gordon and husband Bill, and Joey Phillips and husband Ron, sister-in-law Alpha Broughton and brother-in-law Roy Lang. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and other loved ones. The family will welcome visitation from 2 to 3 PM on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Road (Route 42), West Chester, OH. Funeral service immediately following with the Revs. Cedric and Cyrus Broughton officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Cincinnati, OH.
