Eugene D. Mourer

Eugene D. Mourer, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on April 12, 2022. He was a Loving husband to his late wife Cleo Mourer together they had 5 children. Connie (Ed) Swanson, Donald (Sherry) Mourer, Robert Mourer, Sue Sedlack and William (Julia) Mourer. Also, a whole host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many friends. Eugene had spent his whole life in and around the Cedar Springs, MI area.

Eugene was a cherished son of Clyde and Laura (Phillips) Mourer. Also, predeceased by his brothers William, Milvin, Walter, Earl, Harvey, Jerry, Robert and sister Ruby.

Eugene enjoyed fishing, playing games, remote control airplanes and working on vehicles. Even though being challenged with Alzheimer's for 20 years he still was quick witted and enjoyed telling and making jokes through the finish line. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. A special thanks to those at Maple Knoll's memory care who have taken care of Eugene. He did remember and love the good people there that cared for him.
