Frances Elizabeth Vordem-Thoren (Pent). Beloved wife of 41 years to Richard H. Vordem-Thoren. Loving mother of Cathleen (Mark) Hammond, Richard J. Vordem-Thoren and Melissa (Paul) Vordem-Thoren-Peters. Caring Grandmother of Matthew, Katelyn, Madison, Ethan and Braylen. Great-grandmother of Felix. Sister of George H. (Barbara) Pent Jr. and Judith Sherman. Also survived by 3 half siblings, Barbara, Linda and Michael, 3 nephews, 1 niece and several great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents George H. Pent Sr. and Frances Katherine Hinds. Frances was a graduate of Matawan High School in Matawan N.J. and worked for 15 years at the Black Forest Restaurant in West Chester, OH. Passed away on January 22, 2018, at the age of 67. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044 from 3 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 5 p.m. The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff at OHC, the 5 Tower staff at Mercy Fairfield Hospital, and all the other people involved in Frances’s care.
