Beloved husband of the late Barbara Ann Stager (nee McDonough), loving father of Sheila Franklin, Johnathan (Jennifer) Stager and Mary Elizabeth (Shane) Murray, dear grandfather of Preston (fiancé Elayna Berry) Franklin, Errett Franklin, Cole, Connor and Clare Stager, Lillian, Gabriel and Zachary Murray, brother of the late Jen Hinkle and Lucille Richards, Sonny proudly served in the US Army during WWII, worked 36 plus years as a claims adjuster and has a fond love of thoroughbred horseracing. Sonny passed away on Wednesday August 18, 2021 at age 93Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill 45224 on Monday August 23 from 5-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Rosary 17 Farragut Rd., Greenhills, 45218 on Tuesday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
