Frank Huffman Jr

Frank Huffman, age 93, of Mason, Ohio passed away May 22, 2024. He was born March 3, 1931 to the late Frank and Zula Hoffman in Georgetown, Kentucky. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Hazel Ruth (nee Shropshire) Huffman, his son Frank David Huffman, his daughter Donna McDonald, and granddaughter Rachel McDonald. Cherished father of Gloria (Jim) Cook, Peggy (Gene) Payton and Steve (Cathy) Huffman. Frank was a loving papa to Danielle, Stephanie, Allison, Jim, Christopher, and David and a great grandpapa to Savannah, Sophie, Makenzie, Ava, Matilda, Mason and Sarah. 

Frank was an Army veteran who proudly served in the Korean War as a Sergeant First Class. He never met a stranger and enjoyed studying the Bible, growing a big garden, volunteering in his community–especially Matthew 25 Ministries, participating in many military funerals as a member of the Mason American Legion Post 194 Color Guard, and attending West Chester Nazarene Church. He was a Master Mason for 67 years and loved having canine companions throughout his life.

Frank was an amazing man who was loved by many and will be deeply missed. The visitation will be Tuesday, May 28 at Hodapp Funeral Home in West Chester, located at 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Road in West Chester Township from 11-1 with the service at 1 pm.
