Gabriel "Jay" Herrera

HERRERA, Gabriel F. “Jay”, survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen (nee Finkbeiner-McGue). Devoted father to Bill Herrera (Tori), Christina Sawyer (Everett), step-daughters Laura Farnsworth (Larry), and Kelly Clos (Greg). Cherished grandfather of Mikaela, Tyler and soon to be Lillian Lee, Chase, Tanner, Katey, Alayna, and Brynn,. Son of the late Fernando and Conchita Herrera. Dear brother to Maria Newman (Rev. James), Velma Davis and Ray (Gale). Passed away October 29, 2012 at the age of 67. Mr. Herrera retired from Ford after 37 years. He loved family time, golf, fishing and riding his Harley. Lifelong friend to Bill Dobson and the late Sharon Benjamin. He also leaves a loving family in Havana, Cuba. Celebration of life will be at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd, (Rt. 42), West Chester, with a visitation on Friday, November 2, 2012, from 5 p.m. until time of Masonic Service at 7:45 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, November 3, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at West Chester Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Norwood High School Scholarship Foundation Inc., P.O.
