Gene Ko passed away on Tuesday evening at the age of 84, peacefully at his home in Cincinnati, Ohio. The cause was esophageal cancer. His beloved wife Grace Meilai Ko and daughter Judy Ko were by his side. He is also survived by his son-in-law David Lessing, grandchildren Jackson and Cora Lessing, and his brother Jiin-Liang Ko.
His memorial service will be held on Monday May 30, 2016 at 11am at Hodapp Funeral Home at 6041 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224.
