Geneva I. Roberts

ROBERTS, Geneva I. (nee Meece). Beloved wife of Byrl C. Roberts for 67 years. Loving mother of Jeanne (Alvin) Rose. Grandmother of James Alvin Rose and Benjamin Byrl Rose. Sister of Clinton (Stella) and John (Beverly) Meece. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, at the age of 86. Geneva worked in retail for 34 years as supervisor of the baby department at Elder Beerman in Swifton. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Saturday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shepherds Haven, 175 Shepherds Haven Way, Arlington, TN 38002, or Heartland Hospice, 3800 Red Bank Rd., Suite D, Cincinnati, OH 45227.
