Genevieve Shubeck

Genevieve Ruth Shubeck, daughter of the late Archie and Hattie Borton, died on September 14, 2009, age 88. The incredible wife of Frank Shubeck, cherished mother of Karen, Alan and Linda and treasured mother-in-law of Michael Soltis, Kannika Shubeck and Darrel Dodson. Fantastic grandmother of Gregory, Joseph and Daniel Soltis; Genevieve and Nicholas Shubeck; step-grandmother of Anaïs Dodson. Cherished sister of L. Louise Gall; pre-deceased by a brother, Maurice Borton. Mrs. Shubeck grew up in Detroit and received a B. A. in English from Wayne State University in 1943. After living in Oregon, Barbados and New York, Dr. and Mrs. Shubeck moved to Ohio where Mrs. Shubeck was an administrative assistant at Procter and Gamble for many years. Arrangements are private.
