George Bullock

Bullock, George W., beloved husband of the late Jean E. Bullock (nee Turnbull) and Florence Bullock. Dear father of Thomas G. (Liza) Bullock and Elaine B. (David) Franz. Loving grandfather of Lindsay C. (Jason) Waltsak, Laura K. (Jon) House, and David T. (Katherine Trayers) Bullock. Passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the age of 93. Memorial visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Friday, July 25 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will also be held at the Wyoming Baptist Church, 170 Burns Ave., 45215, on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of memorial service at 10 a.m. George was a proud Bearcat Alum who graduated from U.C. in 1943 with a Civil Engineering degree. He was in the US Army Corps of Engineers and served in Europe and in the Pacific from 1943 – 1946. Mr. Bullock was employed by various architectural firms after the service until he retired in 1987 and was a member of Wyoming Baptist Church for over 60 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The University of Cincinnati Foundation for Medical Research, P.O. Box 19970, Cinti, OH 45219 or to the Wyoming Baptist Church Choir.
