George Herbert Brand

BRAND, George H. Devoted husband of the late Marian Brand (nee Weimer); loving father of Laurie Ann Brand (and her husband Fayez Hammad) and Nancy Brand-Schuetz; dear grandfather of Benjamin Michael Schuetz and Nathaniel David Schuetz, uncle of Barbara and Michael Weimer and granduncle of Aly Weimer. Companion of his darling cat, Birdie. Veteran of the European theater, World War II, and gifted artist who delighted friends and family with beautiful Christmas cards and graceful watercolors. Passed away Thursday December 18, 2014 at age 94. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill Saturday from 10 AM until Memorial at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust or the Honor Flight Network.
