George R. Hicks

HICKS, George R. Beloved husband of Loraine Hicks (nee Nelson) for 57 years. Born March 19, 1931. Dear father of Cindy (Tom) Larson, Sherry Diehl, David (Julie) Hicks and Diane (Patrick) Gutu. Loving grandfather of Kelly, Keith, Katie, Kurt, Kyle, Sydney, Thad, Trevor, Andrew, Adam and John and great-grandfather of Brooke and Aubrey. He was preceded in death by his sister Viva Moxley. George was a veteran of the Army and served in the Korean War. Passed away Saturday February 9, 2013 at age 81. Visitation to be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., West Chester, Tuesday from 6-8 pm with funeral service Wednesday at 11 am.
