Goble Lee Brockman of West Chester, OH went to be with his Lord on February 13, 2024 at the age of 92.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Velma Imogene (Powell) Brockman, his parents, Earnest and Betty Brockman, his sister, Catherine Woody, and his brother, Don A Brockman.
Goble was born in Pellyton, KY on October 17, 1931. He moved to Cincinnati as a teenager to find work. He met Velma and they were married on January 13, 1951. Goble and Velma were long-time members of Highland Avenue Baptist Church where Goble served as a trustee and deacon.
Goble is survived by his three children and their spouses: Linda DeMoss (Ron), Rebecca Teague (Roy), and Tim Brockman (Laura). He is also survived by six grandchildren: Jessica Freeman, Truett Teague, Olivia Teague, Eliott Teague, Amelia Cole, and Madison Brockman; great grandchildren: Mathias and Emma Freeman, Rosalie and Hezekiah Teague, Camden Averitt, and Everleigh Teague.
Goble was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and garden.
Visitation: 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Highland Avenue Baptist Church, 6110 Highland Ave., Elmwood Place, OH.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. following Visitation.
Interment: Rest Haven Memorial Park, Evendale, OH
