Jacob, Gregg A. Devoted husband of Robyn Jacob (nee Renners) Loving father of Arica Jacob, Adam Jacob, Josh Jacob, Heath Reany, and Amber Reany. Dear papa of Reagan and Riley Reany. Beloved brother of Gaye (Keith) Bibelhausen and Steve (Mickey) Jacob. Passed away August 17, 2011, age 58. Visitation will be held on Monday August 22nd at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cinti-Columbus Rd., (Rt 42) West Chester, OH from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 1 pm. Anyone that knew Gregg knew a selfless man that lived his life for others, namely, his family, friends and business associates. Gregg was a man that chose to walk through life with a positive outlook no matter what the circumstances. When times were difficult for anyone close to Gregg, he was there with no questions asked and all while never failing to have that characteristic smile on his face. Gregg lived his life in a manner much admired by those closest to him – absolutely nothing short of perfection. Gregg was a Commercial Masonry Contractor in Cincinnati for 36 years. Gregg was not a guy that left his work at the office at the end of the day, instead, he poured his heart into his business day and night all while simultaneously maintaining a perfect balance with his family and his personal life. Gregg’s company has been involved in hundreds of commercial projects around Greater Cincinnati during his tenure – all of which will continue to represent what he stood for, perfection. Gregg would take great pleasure in knowing that his legacy will continue with his oldest son, Adam Jacob and close friend Heath Reany as they continue to build upon the success of which he has created. In his personal life, Gregg was a man who took pleasure in the simple things. Given a free second in his day, you would find him mowing grass or arranging the stones (perfectly) around one of his ponds. His home was his hobby, his labor of love, and much like many other areas of his life, it is a masterpiece. Having dinner with his wife Robyn every night is what he lived for… and a popsicle before bedtime wasn’t too far down the list either. He thrived on playing practical jokes on his daughter, Arica, or just finding some reason to convince her to hand over her bingo winnings. He was idolized by his son’s, Adam and Josh and the life lessons that he has left them with will surely guide them quietly through life. The words on this page do not do justice to the amazing man for which they were written. They simply give a brief glimpse of what he represented, absolute and undeniable perfection.
