Gregory Robert Ruter

Gregory Robert Ruter, 64, passed away peacefully early on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Ohio State University Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born November 19, 1957 to the late Paul and Mary Claire Ruter. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline; sons Aaron (Mar y Sol) and Daniel; his sisters Diana and Denise and brother Glen; four terriers and 130 bison. Greg had a true entrepreneurial spirit and started multiple small businesses, working as a truck driver and charter fishing captain before starting Owl Creek Bison just outside of Chillicothe. Visitation will be at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45224 on Thursday September 29^th from 5-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clare Church, 1443 Cedar Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45224, on Friday, September 30^th  at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, Greg requested donations be made to the charity of your choice.
