Gwen Jasper

Gwendolyne Gladys Jasper, beloved wife of the late Samuel J. Jasper Sr., loving mother of Samuel J. (Kathy) Jasper Jr., Timothy (Beth) Jasper and the late Stephen Jasper. Caring grandmother of Haley Jasper, Tyler Jasper, Josh (Kelsey Mara) Jasper and the late Matthew Jasper. Gwen was born on September 10, 1917, in Baltimore, OH. She graduated from Ohio University in 1941 with a master’s degree in English. As one way to serve, she played the piano and pipe organ in various churches from age 10. She also belonged to The United Methodist Women’s group in various cities, and the educational sorority P.E.O. Gwen passed away, June 21, 2023, at the age of 105. Visitation will be held Monday, June 26, 2023, at Bethany Church 6388 Cincinnati Dayton Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45044 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or Bethany Church Mission Projects.
