Harry E., Beloved Husband of 57 years to Esther C. (nee Hackemeyer). Devoted father of Steven (Jan), John (Peggy), Tom, Sandi Hill (Tom) and Carole. Loving Grandfather of eight, uncle and great uncle to many, friend to all. Son of the late Herman and Clara, brother to Richard, and the late Edwin and Caroline Arn. Passed away May 5 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born and raised in Wooden Shoe Hollow (Winton Place) and a lifelong member of Matthew United Church of Christ. A proud US Navy (Seabee) veteran of the Korean War and past President of the Winton Place Veterans of WWII. Stationary Engineer at Ralston Purina for 34 yrs and 16 year volunteer at Winton Woods’ Parky’s Farm. Visitation Tuesday May 8, 4:30-7:00 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave, College Hill and at Twin Towers Wilson Chapel, 5343 Hamilton Ave, College Hill. Wednesday May 9 from 10:30 until service at 11.
