Helen D. Neeley

NEELEY, Helen D. (nee Mainous), age 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 8, 2017. Long-time resident of St. Bernard, she was the loving, devoted mother of Barbara Siegel and beloved mother-in-law of Jack Siegel, loving grandmother "Mama" to Candace Caesar (Scott), Doug Siegel (Susan), Bryan Siegel (Melinda), Amy Hausfeld (Tyler) and the late cherished Tina Siegel. She was the caring great-grandma "Mama" to Paige Hopewell, Grant Hopewell, Eric Siegel, Andrew Siegel, Adam Siegel (Samantha), Jacklyn Siegel Mineer (Jonathan), Cooper, Canton and Cobey Hausfeld, and great-great grandmother to 7. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Conley and Myrtle Mainous of Owsley Co., KY, and her brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly: Sigsbee Mainous formerly of Columbus, GA, Steve Mainous formerly of Fairfield, OH, John Mainous formerly of Owsley Co., KY, Pauline Davis formerly of Deer Park, OH, Peggy Roll formerly of St. Bernard, OH, and Jack Mainous formerly of Fairfield, OH. Family will receive friends at Wilson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4805 Sullivan Ave., St. Bernard, OH, Saturday, March 11, from 9:30 a.m. until memorial service at 10:30 a.m. The family would like to give special thanks to niece Robin Bryant, nurse Karen Sanson, and the staff at Kenwood Terrace Nursing Home for their kind and loving care of Helen.
