Helen F., died peacefully in her sleep on April 6, 2017, one week after celebrating her 98th birthday. Loving and devoted daughter of the late George E. and Margaret M. (Bayer) Schmidt. Preceded in death by brothers Jack (Alice) Schmidt; George “Mickey” Schmidt; and Jim (Mary Lou) Schmidt, and nephews Jack (Teri) Schmidt and John Schmidt. Survived by nieces Chris (Steve) Wieland; Rebecca (Steven) Sarver; Kathy Schmidt; Diane (Bill) Rumpke, Jr.; and Susi (Mike) Dick, and nephew Jim (Lynne) Schmidt, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and two great, great nephews. Helen retired from General Electric and travelled extensively. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and a member of the Rosie Reds. Visitation at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1830 West Galbraith Road on Monday, April 10, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in St. Bernard.
