Helen Loretta (Conlon) Otten died peacefully April 3, 2015. Wife of the late Albert Joseph Otten. Loving Mother of Mary (Tom) Ulrich, Marti Otten, David (Jane) Otten, Beth (Dean) Sprague, Steve (Vicki) Otten and Janet (Scott) Walker. Loving grandmother of Aaron Ulrich, Tom (Ana) Ulrich, Nicole Greenberg, Jared Greenberg, Jill (Arte) Smith, Kim (Matt) Witt, Kevin (Mike) Clark, Allison (Kyle) Brown, Lauren (Michael) Linger, Lance Sprague, Colleen (Jake) Uveges, Becky Otten, Nichole and Sara Walker. Great Grandmother to Isabella Ulrich.
Loving sister of Robert (Carla) Conlon and Ann (William) Adkins. She joins in eternal rest, her parents John and Stella Conlon and siblings Ruth (Carl) Bruns, Rev. Edward Conlon, Ralph (Pat) Conlon and Billy Conlon.
Helen was a registered nurse and worked at Good Samaritan and Children's Hospital. She volunteered many years at Mercy Franciscan Terrace, the St. Joseph Seraph School and Soup Kitchen and St. Ann's Parish.
Helen was known for her organizational skills and sharp mind. She dedicated much of her life to helping her grandchildren, with special love and attention to Aaron Ulrich.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 5924 Bridgetown Rd., Bridgetown, Ohio 45248. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 by Helen's nephew Bishop Daniel Conlon. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph's Old Cemetery in Price Hill, 3819 West 8th Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45205, with a reception to follow.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The Mary Rose Mission (for its work in Grenada) www.MaryRoseMission.org 272 Main Street, Florence, Kentucky 41042.
