Allen Proctor II

Herbert “Allen” Proctor II, 70, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on February 27, 2025. 

Allen had a lifelong passion for truck driving, a dream he pursued from childhood. As an adult, he earned his CDL and spent many years on the road, working for various companies in Ohio and doing what he loved most. 

On October 20, 1979, he married Joan “Joanie” Minniear Proctor, and together they shared nearly four decades of love and companionship until her passing in 2017. Their son, Steven Proctor, was born in December 1983, bringing great joy to their lives. Allen later found love again and married Jacqueline Goss Proctor on July 11, 2020, gaining a beloved daughter, Amanda Goss. 

Faith and service were central to Allen’s life. He generously volunteered his time driving the church bus for various congregations, always eager to help those in need. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanie; his mother, Marlene Faye (née Maxfield) Henline; his sister, Deborah Louise Hover; and his father Herbert “Allen” Proctor. 

Allen leaves behind his loving wife, Jacqueline Goss Proctor; his children, Steven Proctor and Amanda Goss; his sister, Wendy L. (Danny) Proctor; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever cherish his memory. 

Allen’s kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for his family and community will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Beacon Church, 6384 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45247 from 10:00 AM until Funeral Services at 11:00 AM.
