In Loving Memory of Hilda “Georgie” Bowman

Hilda “Georgie” Bowman, age 78, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Cincinnati, OH, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born on December 6, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to George and June (Medley) Peterson, Hilda was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life was dedicated to her family and friends, and she was known for her kindness and generosity toward everyone she met. Always willing to lend a hand and drop everything to help those in need, she was a bright light to so many.

Hilda is survived by her loving daughters, Clara Stuerenberg (Mark), Linda Roth (John), and June Bell (Todd); stepchildren, Stella Smith (Gary), Linda Smith, and Billy Bowman (Sandy); grandchildren, Amanda Schell (Keith), Kade Ramirez, Matthew Hibbard (Nacole), Jessica Friedl (Jonathan), John Roth, and Benjamin Roth; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ezra, Harper, Lindsey, Grace, and Sarah. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great-step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, especially Brian Day (Lori).

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and June; her beloved husband, William; her sisters, Nancy, Mary, and June Marie; and her sons, Randy and stepson Darrell.

Visitation will be held at St. Susanna Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.

Hilda’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
