Irene Arellano was born September 4, 1916 in Guaranda, Ecuador.  Irene passed away the morning of Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the age of 98, surrounded by the love of her family in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Irene was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

Irene was a dearly loved mother to 11 children, Miltiton, Gladicita, Ameli (Adolfo) Tobar, Pablo (Jenny) Arellano, Gladys (Paco) Arellano, Cesar (Anita) Arellano, Rosita (Raul) Burbano, Susi (Modesto) Velasco, Milton (Miriam) Arellano, Pepe Arellano, and Barbarita (Michael) McMillin

Irene was preceded by her husband, Jose Vicente, and her children, Miltiton, Gladicita, Susi, and Gladys.

Irene was an adored “Abuelita” and survived by 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Irene was a dearly loved sister and survived by her siblings in Quito, Ecuador.

Irene was a beloved aunt and great aunt survived by her nieces and nephews

Irene enjoyed singing, knitting, crocheting, sitting in the sunlight, watching sunrises, and drinking cafecito with pancito.
