Irma M. Gelhaus

GELHAUS, Irma M. (nee Pfeiffer), beloved wife of the late Herbert B. Gelhaus, dear mother of Barbara (Ron) Freudenberg, Herb (the late Cynthia), John (Linda), Dick (Peggy) and Joe (Kimberly) Gelhaus, also survived by 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, sister of Clara Doerger and Joan Morton, preceded in death by 2 sisters and 8 brothers. Monday, July 27, 2009, age 89, life-long resident of St. Bernard. Visitation will be at St. Clement Church, 4536 Vine St., St. Bernard, Friday from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Mrs. Gelhaus was a member of St. Bernard Seniors and the Third Order of St. Francis. Memorials may be made to Right to Life or charity of donor’s choice. Hodapp Funeral Home, Carthage, serving the family.
