Iva Johnson

Iva Jean Russell Johnson, 81, West Chester passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born Tuesday, August 26, 1941 in Monticello, Wayne Co., KY.  She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Helen Franklin Russell.

Iva retired from Formica in 2004 after 39 ½ years of service until her health began to fail.  She was an active member of Full Gospel Assembly Church.  She enjoyed UK basketball, her beloved fur babies, Nikki and Ziggy and lots of bling.

Iva had a unique ability to make everyone feel loved and important.  Her greatest joy was her family who loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Russell Barge and brother Billy R. Russell.  Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Donald Ray Johnson; niece’s Dina Barge (Jamie) Ledbetter, Carrie Barge (John) Garter, Jennifer Russell (Rob) Gador, Ronda Russell (Brian) Carter, and Rick (Tina) Barge.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Full Gospel Assembly 11850 N Lebanon Rd, Loveland, OH 45140 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice 4380 Glendale Milford Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
