Jack Roland Greene, 77, of Mason, OH, passed away on Wednesday June 22nd. He was born in Ashland, KY on April 12, 1939 to the late Winfield and Myrtle (Estep) Greene. He was married to Hildegard "Hilda" Pankratz Greene. They would have celebrated their 40th anniversary on July 3. Jack graduated from the Univ of Kentucky 1962 with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He was employed at Western Union Telegraph where he covered the early NASA's Apollo missions. He later joined Johnson & Johnson and retired from their Ethicon-Endo Surgery Div., Blue Ash, OH. He was an avid woodworker making
clocks and furniture and helped build homes for Habitat for Humanity. Jack was a devoted husband and father who cherished his family dearly.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister Betty Rayle. He will be forever missed by his wife Hilda, son David, Daughter Amy Miyakawa (Dave), all of Cincinnati, brother Winfield (Betty)of Bowling Green, KY and sister Wilma Andrews of Lizella, GA. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, from 1 PM until time of Memorial Service at 2 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., West Chester, OH 45069. Donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity International, 121 Habitat St., Americus, GA 31709-3498.
