Jaleel A. Tolbert

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, father, brother, family member and friend. Jaleel Alim Tolbert (J.T.) was 41 years young when he suffered a heart attack in the city of Dayton OH on February 4th, 2021 where he resided. Those who knew Jaleel know of his kindheartedness and gentle disposition. His easy-going personality was apparent. Jaleel was born in Staten Island NY, December 8th, 1979 where he lived during early childhood before moving with his parents and siblings to the Twin Cities of Minnesota.  Eight years later Jaleel, his parents and siblings once again moved, this time to Cincinnati OH.  He was a High School graduate and worked at various restaurants in different positions. Jaleel was an enthusiastic sports fan, passionate about football and basketball.
Jaleel is survived by his loving father and mother, Richard and Adrienne Tolbert, his daughter Mikayla Tolbert, son Jace Moyer and siblings Raven Tolbert, Samira Tolbert, Kairi Tolbert, Aquil Tolbert, David New and Laznique Craft.  Jaleel also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.
