James D. Umphrey “Jim” loving husband, father and grandfather, of West Chester, Ohio passed away on December 8, 2019 in the comfort of his own home. Jim is survived by his wife and best friend, Mary Umphrey. Jim is also survived by his father James B. Umphrey and the late Janice (Bill) McCraken, sister Janelle (Richard) Waters, his daughter Ashleigh (David) Stitt, his son Andrew (Chelsea) Umphrey, Marcus (Lesile) Knapp, Jessica (Brian) Meyer, as well as his grandson Joshua Stitt and Lucy and Sadie Meyer. He will be dearly missed by many other close family members and friends. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, December 14th, at the Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., (Rt. 42), West Chester, at 11AM. Condolences to hodappfuneralhome.com
