James (Jim) E Burton, of West Chester OH, passed away on June 8th, after a merciless battle with lung cancer.
Jim was born on June 9th, 1961 to William (Bill) and Shirley Burton in Cincinnati OH. He was the fourth oldest of seven children.
In the summer of 1977, he met the love of his life, Colleen Burton (Kiley). They wed April 14th 1979. Going on to have eight children. Mellissa, James (Jimmy), Teresa, Pamela, Tina, Michelle, William (Billy), and Thomas (Tommy).
In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband and father, Jim was an honest and honorable man. Jim instilled morals and his conscientious work ethic in running his own business with his oldest son and protégé, James (Jimmy) Burton.
James (Jim) was greeted in heaven by his parents William (Bill) and Shirley Burton. His brother William (Billy) Burton, his sister Cathy Thierauf, and his grandsons James Livesay and Ryan Burton.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Colleen Burton. His children, Mellissa (Mike), James, Teresa (Gary), Pamela, Tina (Steve), Michelle (Joe), William (Jordan), & Thomas. His beloved grandkids, Lauren, Nicole, Gary, Carrie, Elizabeth, Gabe, Randy, Emma, Nathan, William, Aiden, Carter, Rachael, Adam, Jackson, Leah, Hunter, Sammy, Colton, Carson. His siblings Shirley, Vickie, Danny, and Kim.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069 from 10am - 12pm
