Jim was very well known for his passionate and relentless pursuit of justice. As one close friend and colleague stated upon hearing the news of his passing, "he was such a fighter and TENACIOUS in the court room, and clearly in life as well". Jim was an avid UC Bearcat football and basketball fan. He was equally as enthusiastic about the Reds and Bengals. He also loved to travel and had a particular interest in our great National Parks out west. He also loved live music especially the blues. Christmas was Jim's favorite time of year. He collected Christmas ornaments as mementos of his many travels and interests. His love of Christmas was rooted in his love of family, the most important thing in his life.
