James, “Jim”, beloved husband for 60 years to Virginia Powers (nee Spadafora), loving father of Michael (Carla), the Honorable Melissa Powers, Robert, Scott (Shannon) Powers and Stephanie (Fred) Breitling, dear grandfather of Nathan, James, Elena, Otto and Ava, brother of David von Lehmden and the late Patricia Engelbrink. Jim worked at P & G for 33 years, played baseball for a select Air Force team, in the minor leagues and in Cincinnati, and was dedicated to helping veterans. Jim passed away on Friday November 10, 2017 at age 85. Visitation at St. John the Baptist, 5361 Dry Ridge Rd., 45252 on Wednesday November 15 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
