James R. Cowan

COWAN, James "Jack". Beloved husband of Mary "Betty" Cowan (nee Chewning). Loving father of the late Guy Cowan and Gregg Cowan (survived by Marilyn). Grandfather of SSgt. Jacob Cowan, USMC (Jamie), William Spivey, Patrick, Justin, Brian, Casey and Kelly. Brother of Chuck Cowan (Judy) and the late Janet Brackett and Ruby Jo Bautista. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jack was a member of The Army National Guard of the U.S. and The Army National Guard of Ohio from 1948-1957. Passed away November 15, 2014 at age 86. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Thursday from 12 PM until time of Blessing at 1 PM.
